Our computer numerical control (CNC) machine was built using plans purchased from joescnc.com. Our machine is a larger version of the 4x4 Evolution. Joe has a terrific set of plans as well as an online forum that one gains access to after purchasing the plans. We would highly recommend Joe's plans and forum to anyone looking to build their own CNC machine. All projects are designed using the Vectric software VCarve Pro.
Our CNC router can cut 2D, 2.5D, and even 3D projects, however, most of the projects we do are 2D and 2.5D. We can do custom jobs for people such as large signs, mantels, bulk items, or cutouts. The machine size is 8 feet by 5 feet so it can cut a maximum of approximately 78 inches by 48 inches (6.5 feet by 4 feet).
